【摘要】:Thisspecificationcoversfittingsandsingleandcoextrudedacrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene(ABS)plasticdrain,waste,andventpipe(DWV)madetoSchedule40ironpipesizes(IPS).PlasticwhichdoesnotmeetthematerialrequirementsspecifiedinSectionisexcludedfromsinglelayerandallcoextrudedlayers.Specificationforfittingsforusewithpipemeetingtherequirementsofthisspecificationaregivenin.Acrylonitrile-butadiene-styreneplastic,whichdoesnotmeetthedefinitionofvirginABSplasticasgivenin,isexcluded,asperformanceofplasticotherthanthosedefinedasvirginwasnotdetermined.ABSreworkplastic,whichmeetstherequirementsofreworkplasticasgivenin,isacceptable.ReprocessedplasticorrecycledplasticasdefinedinTerminologyD883isexcluded.Recommendationsforstorage,joining,andinstallationareprovidedin,,and,respectively.Thetextofthisspecificationreferencesnotes,footnotes,andappendixeswhichprovideexplanatorymaterial.Thesenotesandfootnotes(excludingthoseintablesandfigures)shallnotbeconsideredasrequirementsofthespecification.Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.
