【摘要】:Thetestmethodhastwomainfunctions:first,itprovidesdatausefulforestablishingtheporesizedistributionofcatalystmaterials,whichinturnmayinfluencetheirperformance;andsecond,itservesasalaboratorytestwhichmaybeusedtostudyporositychangesthatmayoccurduringthemanufactureandevaluationofcatalysts.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofnitrogenadsorptionanddesorptionisothermsofcatalystsandcatalystcarriersattheboilingpointofliquidnitrogen.Astaticvolumetricmeasuringsystemisusedtoobtainsufficientequilibriumadsorptionpointsoneachbranchoftheisothermtoadequatelydefinetheadsorptionanddesorptionbranchesoftheisotherm.Thirtypointsevenlyspreadovertheisothermisconsideredtobetheminimumnumberofpointsthatwilladequatelydefinetheisotherm.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
