【摘要】:Inthedistributionsystem,thepackagedproductmaybestoredforaperiodoftimeinamannersuchthatoneormorecontainersarestackedononeanother.Thebottompackageisthuscontinuallysubjectedtoaconstantcompressionload.Thistestmethodsubjectsanemptycontainertoapredeterminedstaticloadandtospecifiedatmosphericconditions,ifrequired,overashortperiodoftimeusingfixedplatencompressiontestingequipment.Deflectionismeasuredovertime.Deflectionversustimedatacanbeusedtopredicttimetofailureofcorrugatedshippingcontainersunderconstantload.1.1Thistestmethodcoversdeterminingtheresistanceofanemptypapercorrugatedshippingcontainertoaverticallyappliedconstantcompressionloadforaspecifiedtime.Thetestmethodmayalsoincludepalletizedorunitizedloadsmadeofsuchcontainers.Theboxesaretestedintheorientationthattheyaremostlikelytobestackedinaunitizedorpalletizedload.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
