【摘要】:Thepresenceandconcentrationofvariousmetallicelementsinapetroleumcokearemajorfactorsindeterminingthesuitabilityofthecokeforvariousenduses.Thistestmethodprovidesameansofdeterminingtheconcentrationsofthesemetallicelementsinacokesample.Thetestmethodprovidesastandardprocedureforusebybuyerandsellerinthecommercialtransferofpetroleumcoketodeterminewhetherthepetroleumcokemeetsthespecificationsofthepurchasingparty.1.1Thistestmethodcoverstheanalysisforcommonlydeterminedtracemetalsintestspecimensofrawandcalcinedpetroleumcokebyinductivelycoupledplasmaatomicemissionspectroscopy.1.2ElementsforwhichthistestmethodisapplicablearelistedinTable1.Detectionlimits,sensitivity,andoptimumrangesofthemetalswillvarywiththematricesandmodelofspectrometer.1.3Thistestmethodisapplicableonlytosamplescontaininglessthanonemass%ash.1.4Elementspresentatconcentrationsabovetheupperlimitoftheworkingrangescanbedeterminedwithadditional,appropriatedilutions.1.5ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.

【摘要】:Phenoxyacidherbicidesareusedextensivelyforweedcontrol.Estersandsaltsof2,4-D,2,4,5-T,andSilvexhavebeenusedforagriculturalcropandlawncare.1.1Thistestmethodcoverstheanalysisof2,4-dichlorophenoxyaceticacid(2,4-D),2,4,5-trichlorophenoxyaceticacid(2,4,5-T),and2,4,5-trichlorophenoxypropionicacid(silvex)inliquidsandsolids,usinghighperformanceliquidchromatographywithanultravioletdetector(HPLC/UV).Thistestmethodisapplicableforaconcentrationrangefromapproximately50to1000ppm.ThisrangetakesintoconsiderationthesamplepreparationanddilutionsoutlinedinSection.Lowerdetectionlevelscanbeobtainedbyusinglargersamplesizes,smallertotalfinalvolumes,orwiththeuseofin-lineorsolidphaseextraction,concentration,and/orcleanup.1.2Thechlorophenoxyherbicidesmaybepresentasavarietyofsaltsoresters,whichareconvertedto,analyzed,andreportedastheirrespectiveacids.1.3Thistestmethodisapplicabletoliquidandsolidwasteandwasteextractmatricesincludingaqueous,oil,spentsolvent,soil,ash,leachates,etc.1.4Thistestmethodmaybeapplicabletootherphenoxyacidherbicides.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SeeSectionandforspecificprecautionarystatements.
