【摘要】:Thedeterminationoftheboilingrangedistributionofgasolinebygaschromatographicsimulateddistillationprovidesaninsightintothecompositionofthecomponentsfromwhichthegasolinehasbeenblended.Knowledgeoftheboilingrangedistributionofgasolineblendingcomponentsisusefulforthecontrolofrefineryprocessesandfortheblendingoffinishedgasoline.ThedeterminationoftheboilingrangedistributionoflighthydrocarbonmixturesbygaschromatographicsimulateddistillationhasbetterprecisionthantheconventionaldistillationbyTestMethodD86.Additionally,thistestmethodprovidesmoreaccurateanddetailedinformationaboutthecompositionofthelightends.Thedistillationdataproducedbythistestmethodaresimilartothatwhichwouldbeobtainedfromacryogenic,trueboilingpoint(15theoreticalplates)distillation.ThistestmethodisintendedtoexpanduponTestMethodD3710bydefiningmandatoryresponsefactors,useofcapillarycolumntechnology,inclusionofoxygenates,anduseofflameionizationdetection.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheboilingrangedistributionofgasolineandliquidgasolineblendingcomponents.Itisapplicabletopetroleumproductsandfractionswithafinalboilingpointof280x00B0;C(536x00B0;F)orlower,asmeasuredbythistestmethod.1.2ThistestmethodisdesignedtomeasuretheentireboilingrangeofgasolineandgasolinecomponentswitheitherhighorlowvaporpressureandiscommonlyreferredtoasSimulatedDistillation(SimDis)bygaschromatographers.1.3Thistestmethodhasbeenvalidatedforgasolinecontainingethanol.Gasolinescontainingotheroxygenatesarenotspecificallyexcluded,buttheywerenotusedinthedevelopmentofthistestmethod.1.4Thistestmethodcanestimatetheconcentrationofn-pentaneandlightersaturatedhydrocarbonsingasoline.1.5ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.5.1ResultsindegreesFahrenheitcanbeobtainedbysimplysubstitutingFahrenheitboilingpointsinthecalculationoftheboilingpoint-retentiontimecorrelation.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
