【摘要】:ThisTechnicalReportconsistsofthreeparts.Thefirstpartdefines,describesandexplainsbasicconceptstypicaltoallmailcommunicationsystemssuchasdomains,parties,agentsandtheirroleinthesystem,physicalandinformationalobjects,processes,interfacesandrelationships.Thefirstpartdoesnotcovermoredetailedtechnicalaspectsofthemainconceptssuchas:?detaileddescriptionofmailentitiesandsets,theirattributesandmethodsofcollection/captureoftheirvalues;?applicationsdescribingspecificuseoftheinformationdescribingbasicobjectsbymailers,postaloperatorsandrecipients;?dataelements,dataconstructsandmessagedescriptions;?communicationprotocolsandinfrastructureformessagetransportincludingtransportofmessagesthroughaprint-scanchannel(orpaperchannel);?messagesecurityissuesrelatedtoindividualmessages:confidentialityandintegrityofdata,authenticationandnon-repudiation;?printingsymbology,physicalplacementofdataelementsandsymbols,theirorientationanddimensions,andinksandprintquality.ThesecondpartofthisTechnicalReportdefinestheconceptsnecessaryandsufficienttodescribecustomerdirectedinformationthatcanbecapturedbypostandmadeaccessibletocustomersusingpost-mailerinterface.Thisreportexplainsanddescribesrelationshipsbetweentheseconcepts.Thisreportprovidesacomprehensivelistofmailentityattributesthatareinvolvedinformingobservationsandeventssignificantforpostalcustomers.Thisreportdescribesamethodologysuitablefortheselectionofobservationpointswithinpostaldomainprocesswhereinformationcollectedinobservationsismostusefulforcustomers.Thereportdoesnotcover:?applicationsdescribingtheuseofcollectedeventinformation;?messagesandprotocols;?communicationinfrastructure.Thethirdpartofthisreportdescribes:?listofspecificeventsknowledgeofwhichisvaluabletopostalcustomers(mailsendersandrecipients)andcouldbemadeavailabletosuchcustomers;?underlyingmailentityattributesthatformcorrespondingobservations;?dataconstructsupportingpracticalaccesstoinformationcollectedwithinpostaldomainaboutevents,underlyingobservationsandexpectations,andinparticularinformationaboutevents,observationsandexpectationsthatarevaluabletopostalcustomers.TheTechnicalReportalsoprovidesanexampleofapplicationthatdemonstratestheuseofspecificeventsanddataconstructs.ThisTechnicalReportmakesuseofXMLschemaindescribingrelevantdataconstructs.Actualcommunicationmessagescanbebuiltfromdataconstructsdescribedinthisreport.However,thisreportdoesnotspecifythestructureofspecificmessages,nordoesitprecludeusingmechanismsotherthanXMLschematodescribedataconstructs.
