【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesamethodfordeterminingtheultimateaerobicbiodegradabilityofplasticmaterialsinsoilbymeasuringtheoxygendemandinaclosedrespirometerortheamountofcarbondioxideevolved.Themethodisdesignedtoyieldanoptimumdegreeofbiodegradationbyadjustingthehumidityofthetestsoil.Ifanon-adaptedsoilisusedasaninoculum,thetestsimulatesthebiodegradationprocesseswhichtakeplaceinanaturalsoilenvironment;ifapre-exposedsoilisused,themethodcanbeusedtoinvestigatethepotentialbiodegradabilityofatestmaterial.Thismethodappliestothefollowingmaterials:—Naturaland/orsyntheticpolymers,copolymersormixturesofthese.—Plasticmaterialswhichcontainadditivessuchasplasticizersorcolorants.—Water-solublepolymers.—Materialswhich,underthetestconditions,donotinhibittheactivityofthemicroorganismspresentinthesoil.Inhibitoryeffectscanbemeasuredusinganinhibitioncontrolorbyanothersuitablemethod(seee.g.ISO8192).Ifthetestmaterialinhibitsthemicroorganismsinthesoil,alowertestmaterialconcentration,anothertypeofsoilorapre-exposedsoilcanbeused.
