【摘要】:ThispartofISO/IEC8859specifiesasetof191codedgraphiccharactersidentifiedasLatinalphabetNo.1.Thissetofcodedgraphiccharactersisintendedforuseindataandtextprocessingapplicationsandalsoforinformationinterchange.Thesetcontainsgraphiccharactersusedforgeneralpurposeapplicationsintypicalofficeenvironmentsinatleastthefollowinglanguages:Albanian,Basque,Breton,Catalan,Danish,Dutch,English,Faroese,Finnish,French(withrestrictions,seeAnnexA.1,Notes),Frisian,Galician,German,Greenlandic,Icelandic,IrishGaelic(newortho-graphy),Italian,Latin,Luxemburgish,Norwegian,Portuguese,Rhaeto-Romanic,ScottishGaelic,SpanishandSwedish.Thissetofcodedgraphiccharactersmayberegardedasaversionofan8-bitcodeaccordingtoISO/IEC2022orISO/IEC4873atlevel1.ThispartofISO/IEC8859maynotbeusedinconjunctionwithanyotherpartsofISO/IEC8859.Ifcodedcharactersfrommorethanonepartaretobeusedtogether,bymeansofcodeextensiontechniques,theequivalentcodedcharactersetsfromISO/IEC10367shouldbeusedinsteadwithinaversionofISO/IEC4873atlevel2orlevel3.ThecodedcharactersinthissetmaybeusedinconjunctionwithcodedcontrolfunctionsselectedfromISO/IEC6429.However,controlfunctionsarenotusedtocreatecompositegraphicsymbolsfromtwoormoregraphiccharacters(seeclause6).NOTE-ISO/IEC8859isnotintendedforusewithTelematicservicesdefinedbyITU-T.IfinformationcodedaccordingtoISO/IEC8859istobetransferredtosuchservices,itwillhavetoconformtotherequirementsofthoseservicesattheaccess-point.
