【摘要】:Theserequirementscoversurveillancecamerasandaccessoriesintendedforuseatmercantileandbankingpremisestoprovideameansofrecordingimagesofholdupattemptsorotheractivitiesinthearea.Asurveillancecameramaybedesignedtooperateautomatically,bymanualactuation,orhavedualcapability.Itisintendedtorecordimagesoftheareacoveredbyitsfieldandmaytakesingleframe,rapidsequence,ormotionpictures.VideoandtelevisionproductsusedassurveillancecameraunitsshallalsocomplywiththeStandardforLow-VoltageVideoProductsWithoutCathode-Ray-TubeDisplays,UL1409,ortheStandardforTelevisionReceiversandHigh-VoltageVideoProducts,UL410.TheserequirementscoverequipmentintendedforinstallationinaccordancewiththerequirementsoftheNationalElectricalCode,NFPA70.Aproductthatcontainsfeatures,characteristics,components,materials,orsystemsnewordifferentfromthosecoveredbytherequirementsinthisstandard,andthatinvolvesariskoffire,electricshock,orinjurytopersonsshallbeevaluatedusingtheappropriateadditionalcomponentandend-productrequirementstodeterminethatthelevelofsafetyasoriginallyanticipatedbytheintentofthisstandardismaintained.Aproductwhosefeatures,characteristics,components,materials,orsystemsconflictwithspecificrequirementsorprovisionsofthisstandardshallnotbejudgedtocomplywiththisstandard.Whereappropriate,revisionofrequirementsshallbeproposedandadoptedinconformancewiththemethodsemployedfordevelopment,revision,andimplementationofthisstandard.
